For The Last Time, in Junior High!

Image
Photo credentials to its owner I still remember the day when Mrs. Vera Cruz asked us to create a blog about Independence Day. I was too clueless on what I'm going to post to make my blog somehow catchy. In there, I learned the concept of having my own article and expressing my thoughts in my own words. Honestly speaking, I had a hard-time in making my own blog. It became a challenge to me to have improvements in every blog we will be having. For the last time in junior high, this will be my last blog post. Photo Credentials to its owner Final Quarter, Photoshop. Not a new lesson for all of us, this grading refreshes our minds. Layers, backgrounds, masks are some of the lessons we had this grading- which can help in making our blogs catchy. I almost forgot how to operate a Photoshop. I felt quite pressured because I am not that creative- I'm not in lined with arts. Photo By: 10- Martinelli Before, I want to have an output better than my classmates. I want to ha

Set Goals, Be You!

“Commit your way to the LORD; trust in HIM, and HE will act.”                                                                                                                                                                      -Psalm 37:5             Each one of us has a goal to achieve in life. We can sometimes hear to other people that “I need to achieve something before I die to make my existence something useful.” We sometimes live for us to prove something to others , to the point we can sacrifice everything- even our own happiness. There was a time I asked my parents “Mom, dad, when I reach college, what course do you want me to take?” My mom answered me, “You can decide whatever course you want to take. We will support you and we will do anything in order for you to finish the course of your choice.” Those words motivated me to be “someone” in the near future. I will soon to be Atty. Philippe Marie de Jose Rabe, CPA with the help of our Lord! I will use my family, frien

“Having a goal gives you the reason to wake up every day”                                              -Atty. Allan B. Barcena Photo by: Mrs. Myrnalita Abad Another year of excellence, another year of public service and another year to remember. Ilocos Sur National High School celebrated its 177 th foundation day last March 1-2, 2019. Colorful flags, paper fans, bamboo drums and paper flowers are shouting for the highlights of the celebration. Before that an inspiring message from Atty. Allan B. Barcena was delivered. He told us about the 4 values to success, first is HOPE . It is the ability to look positively, he also mentioned “Having a goal gives you the reason to wake up every day.” We should start setting our goals, our objectives. He gave former US President Barack Obama as an example of it. In the history of United States of America, he was the first black ever elected for the position. CHANGE. TRANSCEND. IMPROVEMENT. GROWTH.

Our country,Philippines is currently facing a lot of economic problems such as poverty, improper waste disposal, basic education facilities and materials, malnutrition, crimes and over consumption of illegal drugs and marijuana. Many laws, bills, and ordinances are being implemented by the government officials to solve the problems mentioned above. But the main question is, "Why does the country still facing so much problems if we have laws implemented to lessen or possibly avoid or stop it?" Discipline. It always should start within yourself until it overflows to other people surrounding you. In order to make a change, you should start changing yourself for the better and start to help in changing the society for its betterment. We cannot change the world if we cannot start the change for ourselves. We should learn that everything starts within us. We should lead ourselves in making and being the change. Comfort zone. We should not stay in our comfort zone. We should ste

Another year had just finished and another one starts. Before telling my new year’s resolutions and goals, let me look back on year 2018 experience. 2018 has a lot of challenges which made me suffer from different feelings and emotions such as happiness, sadness, stress, anxiety, and too close to depression. I lost a loved one, ranked down in my academics, and financial problems, are some of the challenges I’ve faced during my 2018. Even though 2018 showcased me some life challenges, I must say that I am really and indeed blessed for God had given me blessings for the entire year.   New Year always means a beginning of a new life series, another year for self-development and another chance to appreciate God's creation. New Year, new me. I did not choose to change myself, but rather I choose to improve myself for the better.  I decided to have my goals for this year, and I came out for the following: I want to be more productive this year. I want to be confident

Third Quarter Reflection

The topics that we need to learn in TLE- ICT 10 are still measureless. This third quarter, our lesson revolves around the Hypertext Mark-up Language or HTML and Web designs. Three quarters have already passed but there's still a lot to explore in the field of ICT. Designing a web page is quite hard but it discovered my artistry as a student. This grading I learned how to have fun while doing some challenging task. Going deeper, learning wider. Just like the past grading, I encountered a lot of difficulties.  I thought that what I've learned in second grading is enough for me to survive another quarter in ICT. Knowing the basic concepts of HTML, I thought it will be the same lesson again. I was wrong, when our teacher told us to create a Community Based Research in HTML I had a hard time in doing it for there are things that I should explore and learn deeper from it.  Third quarter really made me realized that I should be always open minded and have the initiative to le
